Biography:
Jr. researcher at COISPA since April 2024. He obtained a three-year degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Bari "Aldo Moro" in April 2020 with a thesis on methodologies for the study of the population of two species of sharks (G. melastomus and S. canicula) from the Ionian Sea North Western through data from the MEDITS survey. In November 2022 he obtained a master's degree in "Biology and ecology of the marine environment and sustainable use of the resources" at the University of Naples "Federico II" carrying out his thesis in microbial oceanography at the Universidade de Aveiro, PT. Subsequently, starting from March 2023, she carried out a research grant at the Anton Dhorn Zoological Station in the department of Eco-sustainable Marine Biotechnology, where she focused on the creation of microbial cell factors to implement the yield of bioactive molecules of interest, using molecular biology and metabolic engineering tools. She has also been an AIOSS underwater scientific researcher since 2018. It joined COISPA in April 2024, where it deals with laboratory activities relating to age determination, growth and reproduction of bony and cartilaginous fish, crustaceans and cephalopod molluscs.
