Biography:
She has more than 30 years’ experience in the field of fish population dynamics, stock assessment, fishery management, telemetry and spatial distribution/dynamics, fish behaviour and fish welfare. She has participated to the Activities of SAC-FAO (Scientific Advisory Committee-SAC, GFCM) since 2000 and to the sessions of STECF-SGMED-EWG since 2008. She is involved in the EU Data Collection Framework program since 2002. She acted as coordinator of several European and national programs in the field of fishery and aquaculture. She is the author/co-author of more than 50 scientific publications. She is member of the STECF (Scientific, Technical and Economic Committee for Fisheries) of the European Commission since 2025.
