Research interests:
Her research interests are diverse as she previously worked with polar biology, population genetics, aquaculture and climate change research. She worked with various biological models, from krill to fish species, and different life stages. Her current research focuses more on organic aquaculture and the development of welfare indicators using behavioural and physiological tools such as blood indicators or energy expenditure during swimming thanks to accelerometer tags and telemetry technology.

Biography:
Following her bachelor degree in biological sciences at the University of Toulouse (France) with a year specialized in marine sciences at the University of Rimouski (Canada), Lola obtained a Master's degree in marine biology in 2015 at the University of Western Brittany (France). Following a period working as a research assistant at the Alfred Wegener Institute (Germany), Lola started a PhD in 2016 at the University of Lorraine in France in Aquaculture, more specifically on the development of new species domestication programs taking into account the wild intraspecific variability. After completing the PhD in 2020, she started a post-doctoral contract at the Ifremer in France, working with fisheries and climate change. Lola then integrated the COISPA Foundation in July 2023 to focus on organic aquaculture and welfare indicators.
